St. Augustine

A city on the northeast coast of Florida, near Jacksonville, founded in 1565. It lays claim to being the oldest city in the U.S., and is known for its Spanish colonial architecture as well as Atlantic Ocean beaches like sandy St. Augustine Beach and tranquil Crescent Beach. Anastasia State Park is a protected wildlife sanctuary. The Castillo de San Marcos is a 17th-century Spanish stone fortress with views of the St. Augustine Inlet.

Ybor City in Tampa

Known for boutiques and vintage shops on 7th Avenue, which also hosts Cuban and Latin American eateries. The Centro Ybor mall offers indie fast food, bars, and a cinema. Housed in a 1920s bakery, Ybor City State Museum has exhibits on the cigar industry and the area’s immigrant communities.

If you plan a road trip from Michigan to Orlando, you can stop by Ruby Fall near Chattanooga, Tennessee; very first KFC in Corbin, Kentucky etc. or Nashville to enjoy the music night during the weekend; Stop by a Bucee’s for a rest and enjoy the world famous beef jerk and Texas BBQ from this chain of travel centers known for clean bathrooms and many fueling positions.
